Driving Dickinson County – In the Right Direction

Last night at our Annual Gala & Awards Ceremony, we unveiled a refreshed visual identity for Driving Dickinson County.

This update represents more than a new logo. It reflects the direction we are heading as an organization — and the future we are building across Dickinson County.

Driving Dickinson County has always been more than a phrase. It represents momentum, collaboration, and intentional progress. As economic development continues to evolve, we felt it was time for our visual identity to better reflect the energy and forward movement happening across our communities.

The Meaning Behind the Mark

Our new brand mark is built around motion and direction.

The road symbolizes progress — the path we are traveling together as businesses, partners, investors, and community leaders.

The upward arrow represents growth and forward direction. It reflects opportunity, expansion, and a shared vision for sustained growth.

The “i” in Driving is intentionally highlighted. It represents people — the individuals, investors, entrepreneurs, and leaders who are the true driving force behind Dickinson County’s success.

“Our work is built on collaboration,” said Natalie Muruato, CEO of DKEDC. “Economic growth doesn’t happen in silos — it happens when businesses, investors, partners, and communities move forward together. This refreshed brand reflects that shared momentum and our collective commitment to Dickinson County’s future.”

“This wasn’t just about modernizing a logo,” said Jackie Hynes, Events & Marketing Director. “It was about visually capturing who we are and where we’re headed. Driving Dickinson County means driving in the right direction — intentionally, collaboratively, and with purpose.”

While our look has evolved, our mission remains focused on furthering the economic development of Dickinson County by supporting business growth, strengthening industry, and advancing long-term opportunity. That commitment continues to guide our work across business retention and expansion, recruitment, entrepreneurship, and community branding initiatives.
